Shingle and Metal Roofing

Roofing Contractor Serving Kingsport, TN and the Tri-Cities

Jason Frady Construction handles roof installation, replacement, and repair in Kingsport, TN, with materials suited to Tri-Cities weather and fair, straightforward pricing.

Residential Roofing Built on Quality Workmanship

Jason Frady Construction handles residential roofing for homeowners across Kingsport, Johnson City, Bristol, and the surrounding Tri-Cities. Jason works hands-on with his crew, so the person who quotes your roof is there when it goes on.

Our roofing services cover roof installation, roof replacement, and roof repair, plus shingle roofing, metal roofing, storm damage, and emergency calls. Every job uses materials chosen for this region's freeze-thaw winters and humid summers. If you're also planning fencing or a new deck, the same contractor can handle decks and porches, so you have one accountable point of contact for your exterior work.

Fair pricing matters here too. You get honest numbers based on your roof and the work it actually needs, with no padding for a middleman or a subcontractor's cut.

Our Services

Our Full Lineup of Roofing Services

From a full tear-off to a fast repair call, here's the roofing work we handle across the Tri-Cities. Each service gets the same standard: careful workmanship, durable materials, and a straight answer about what your roof needs.

Roofing Built for Tri-Cities Freeze-Thaw Winters and Humid Summers

Kingsport and the surrounding hills see everything from July humidity to January ice, and a roof here has to handle both. With roughly 20 years in construction, Jason Frady Construction picks materials and methods for what this region actually throws at a roof, rather than a one-size-fits-all install.

A few things that matter most for local roofs:

  1. Ice and water shield at eaves and valleys to stop winter ice dams from backing up under shingles
  2. Proper attic ventilation so summer heat and winter condensation don't shorten your roof's life
  3. Flashing details around chimneys and skylights built to handle repeated freeze-thaw cycles
  4. Shingle and metal products rated for the wind gusts that come through valley weather patterns
  5. Gutter and drip edge work that keeps heavy spring rain off your foundation and siding
  6. Timing installs around the Tri-Cities' wetter stretches to protect your home during the project

How It Works

Our Roof Installation and Repair Process

Every roofing job follows the same straightforward path, whether it's a small roof repair or a full roof replacement. Here's what to expect from your first call to the final walkthrough.

  1. Step 1: Free On-Site Estimate

We inspect your roof on site, checking shingles, flashing, decking, and ventilation, then give you a clear, honest estimate based on what we actually find.

  2. Step 2: Choosing Your Roofing Materials

You choose between shingle and metal options based on your budget and style, and we walk you through what fits your home's structure and the local climate.

  3. Step 3: Tear-Off, Install, and Cleanup

Our crew handles the tear-off, the new roof, and the cleanup, with the work checked at each stage and your yard cleared of nails and debris before we leave.

  4. Step 4: Final Walkthrough

Before the job is called done, we walk the roof and the property with you to confirm everything meets the standard you were promised.

Jason and his crew do fantastic work! They did a 6 foot wood fence in 2017. It was so well put together and provided us with privacy and comfort. When we moved to Piney Flats, I contacted Jason and he did another quality job. We absolutely love the finished product! He was able go above the normal to the exceptional! I recommend Jason 100%. He's the best around!!

Jason of Jason Frady Construction installed a black chain link fence around our backyard. We found him on Thumbtack. Jason responded to my inquiry promptly. He came and gave us a quote within 2 days. In fact, the other responses asked stupid questions like, how many feet? Duh! That’s why you go to the site and give an estimate. Jason’s work ethic is impeccable. His employees are hard workers and don’t goof off. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.
